Well Life

Project: Rebrand and Website Design

Well Life reached out in early 2025 looking for the right person to lead them through a strategic rebrand and website overhaul.

Having worked with the business on small tasks over the years, I was thrilled to be chosen as the one to guide them into their next chapter.

Well Life Services: Before

Here's what was happening at Well Life Services

Well Life Services had established themselves within South East Queensland and Toowoomba, experiencing rapid growth in their first 5 years. Their clients were happy, but their business wasn't recognised in the community - in fact, it was often confused for another business. Yep, uncomfortable. As that conversation moved along, it became clear that people recognised the founder of the business visually, but not the business's name or logo. Personal branding is important, but it was clear that the business itself had an identity crisis!

Then there was the part where their logo only came on a white background, in one layout, with a font they didn't know, attached to the slogan at all times. It was a problem.

Well Life Services needed a comprehensive, strategic rebrand - one that had the foundations right from the start, that worked on all backgrounds and had flexibility. As part of this process, a minor rename simplified a diverse business and helped communicate what they want for all their clients: Well Life Services became Well Life.

While Well Life had a website, the platform had significant design limitations. Structurally, it was set-up in a way that served the business early on, but in the last few years, it wasn't showing the vibrancy, dedication and quality of service that the business is known for. The referral form I created for them a few years ago was working well, but everything else needed an overhaul.

Branding Objectives:

  • Rebrand the business through a psychology-driven approach, to ensure the foundations for visuals and text are solid and intentional.

  • Create a logo that worked on light and dark backgrounds, with variations for different layouts without losing the distinct new style. They wanted a logo that was vibrant and had a sense of movement.

  • A thorough brand voice guide, so that the business can be consistently represented in writing.

Website Project Objectives:

  • Prioritise user experience and flow, so that questions were answered and next steps were clear.

  • Structure a more robust website with SEO to support the next chapter for the business.

  • Ensure the new website was cohesive, vibrant and reflects where the business is now, not 3 years ago.

  • Reduce costs by replacing expensive software, to save them nearly $800/year.

Early in my teaching career I had the pleasure of working closely with many  Aboriginal people. It opened my eyes to beautiful stories, values, knowledge and connections. I work with people all around this country, so I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge all ATSI peoples and their history on this shared land.
